This page was created for use by Mr. Aldrich's French 1 class of at Thomas Harrison Middle School in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Students add pages as part of their classwork.

What is this all about?

One good definition of "culture" is "The shared values, traditions, norms, customs, arts, history, institutions, and experience of a group of people." We want to study French culture along with the language so we can understand references French people use and get an idea of what makes them unique.

We will add pages about music, food, famous people, important places, history, holidays, national symbols, sports/activities and all the things that go into the French way of life.
